Long term committed couples can have sex that is progressively more intimate and more exciting.

The catch is that it takes some work. It means owning your emotional baggage and being willing to help your partner through their stuff too. It becomes necessary to completely resolve every disagreement to the point of loving him or her to bits rather than shoving your feelings into the dark recesses of the collective basement of the relationship.

Evoë Thorne, "Profoundly in love," Whole Sex Life - I’ve been reading her blog archives and keep coming away amazed at her insights and bravery. Looking forward to reading with her today in Seattle at 3 pm - details below!

When you’re an erotica writer, you can say having sex is research. One of the perks of the job. One of the most fun things I did while researching THE SIREN was booking an appointment with a real Manhattan dominatrix at her dungeon. She beat the hell out of me after I told her I didn’t mind bruises. A lot of her clients are married men who visit dominas in secret. We had an awesome time and we’ve stayed in touch here and there. She’s as beautiful as Mistress Nora and just as wild.

The Original Sinners series author Tiffany Reisz in an interview at Darkest Sins. Tiffany also wrote a new male/male baseball erotica story “Bringing the Heat” which is published in Hungry for More and will be reading it live with me on Wednesday, September 10th at 7:30 at She Bop, 909 N. Beech Street, Portland, Oregon. See you there! Want to do me a favor? Even if you can’t make it, if you know people near Portland, Oregon, spread the word; the event is also on Facebook! (via rkb)

This reading also features The Big Book of Orgasms contributor Stella Harris, author of “The Jeffrey Factor,” which you can read an excerpt of at Unbound Box!

Reader favorite “Remote Control” by Logan Zachary from The Big Book of Orgasms: 69 Sexy Stories is now available for your free listening pleasure courtesy of Rose Caraway on The Kiss Me Quick’s Erotica Podcast. Listen to her read 68 more stories on the bestselling audiobook. This story has been a reader favorite at readings and in reviews and is such a wonderful, humorous and sexy tale of what happens when a couple discover that a remote control can change their bodies in every way.

The latest excerpt up at Unbound Box from The Big Book of Orgasms: 69 Sexy Stories is from “The Jeffrey Factor” by Stella Harris. Catch her reading live with editor Rachel Kramer Bussel September 10th at She Bop in Portland, Oregon.

Thanks for this great review, Viva La Sexy!

There are 69 stories total (because of course), and there’s really something here for everyone. The writing style, characters, points of view, etc. are all so diverse. There are stories about straight and queer people, cisgender and trans* folks, vanilla and kinky sex, masturbation, couples, threesomes, and more.

Besides, the theme of this anthology is orgasms. Who doesn’t like orgasms?! Seriously though, out of all of the erotica books I’ve read, I feel like this one has the widest appeal because of the theme and because of the diversity of people and sex represented in the stories. I think this would be an especially great choice for someone just venturing into the world of erotica, since it’s kind of a sampler of sorts.
